Side trips In Japan (Entretiempo)

There are so many beautiful places in Japan. Their culture is so advanced and sophisticated it was truly a pleasure to see.

Here we found a small temple near the train station on our way back to Tokyo. You provide a small donation for a prayer sheet and tie it to this stand. It is said that then whatever you are thinking of or ask for shall come true.


I am still waiting to have my prayers answered :)






I am embarassed to say I can not recall the name of this beautiful site. It was once an active volcano that has since gone and a small lake is setlled in between. This visit was amazing, standing on the mountain top and observing al this was quite exciting



Here is the entrance to the temple mentioned above. Off on the left you can see my brother cleansing his hands in the ceremonial bath. You must also do this to your feet before entrance to the temple!



On our bus ride up to the mountain top were we saw the old volcano, I saw some amazing things and thought to myself how nature can be so simple yet truly beautiful.
